Um... anybody actually check out the video footage in the link?

http://cracked.com/modules.php?op=mo...rticle&sid=926

Because that`s what I wanted to truly discuss. R Kelly´s last year performance of "in the closet". Such an idiot.

Yeah, I saw it. He was acting out the three parts himself from one of the chapters from the song. I think him playing with his earring was when Chuck and Cathy were 'bout to start bitch slappin' each other!

I think Pink was stoned, and the Jackass guys were either high or drunk.

What was that guy at the end who hopped up onstage during the award Jennifer Lopez was presenting? He was quickly escorted away but the camera caught it all.

Why oh why does MTV have to re-run the VMA's repeatedly after such a disasterous airing?

So my question is this................

Are the VMA shows aired from LA more entertaining and of better quality than the years the show is aired from NY?

Speaking of people under the influence while on stage...I think the All American Rejects'(whoever the hell they are) frontman was plastered already when he was accepting their award.

And to answer your final question...I don't know exactly which years the VMAs aired from LA, so I can't give an accurate answer to your question. I can, however, say with complete and utter certainty that the VMAs aired from Miami were, quite simply, the worst programming in the history of television. Did you see the VMAs aired from Miami? Am I not correct in this?

Ugh, VMAs in Miami. That was the first time I had watched the VMAs in roughly a decade. It was awful. I pretty much sat there going "What the fuck is this shit?!" for three hours.

I do remember the show from Miami, they had stars arriving by boat. It was very boring.

MTV Video Music Awards

The MTV Video Music Awards were established in 1984 by MTV to celebrate the top music videos of the year. Originally beginning as an alternative to the Grammy Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards is now a respected pop culture awards show in its own right.

The statues given to winners of the award are often called "Moon Men" because the statue is of an astronaut on the moon, one of the earliest representations of MTV.

The eligibility period for the Video Music Awards begins July 1. They are presented annually and broadcast live on MTV. Past broadcasts have been held in New York, Los Angeles and Miami.

The 2006 MTV Video Music Awards will be held at New York's Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, August 31.

That has to be the strangest mess of a song I've ever heard, and I don't automatically hate all pop/rap music either.

While I think Jack Black is funny, I would rather them get Dave Chapelle. Or even have Chris Rock do it again.

No it was horrible. The only performance worth watching was Justin Timberlake.
