~all the u2 albums
~rem-automatic for the ppl
~corrs live in dublin
~john mellencamp-the best that i could do (i cheated cause i don't have any of his actual albums)

my problem is that if i listen to anything it's a burned mix...and i'm too cheap to buy cds but these are the ones i have that i like....

I actually have a few compilation albums (mostly Best Of's and a few soundtracks) that I would consider among my VERY favorites, including Creedence Clearwater Revival, James, and Matthew Sweet. But since we can't include those, I'm including singles.

Yep, there are some (U2) singles that are better than most albums I've heard.

So, in order of the artist's name (since I dare not assign rankings)...

Lewis Black - The White Album (comedy)
David Bowie - Heathen
Coldplay - Parachutes
Dido - No Angel
Peter Gabriel - So

David Gray - A Century Ends
David Gray - Babylon
Jewel - Pieces of You
Jewel - Spirit
Jewel - This Way

Daniel Lanois - Acadie
Aimee Mann - Magnolia soundtrack (mostly new material)
Tom Petty - Wildflowers
They Might Be Giants - Flood
U2 - Boy

U2 - The Unforgettable Fire
U2 - The Joshua Tree
U2 - Achtung Baby
U2 - "One"
U2 - "Even Better Than the Real Thing"

U2 - Zooropa
U2 - POP
U2 - "Please" (US single - single mix + PopHeart Live EP)
U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind
U2 - 7 (Target exclusive)
DISCLAIMER: The author of the preceding is known
for engaing in very long discussions.

I'm downloading some stuff by them (been waiting for days thanks to my slow dial-up connection). Glad to hear someone here likes them. I really have no idea what they sound like, but I'm hoping I'll like it.
