Hmmm, this is going to be difficult. I have close to 300 CD's and I like (almost) all of them, so cutting back to 25 CD's is a very difficult task. But I'll try.
I'm leaving out all the U2 albums (freeing space for 12 other albums).

In no alfabetical order and only 1 album per artist (in brackets the defining song on that album)

1. Arrested Development - 3 Year's, 5 Months And 2 Days In The Life Of... (Natural!)
2. Catatonia - International Velvet (Road Rage!)
3. Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole (Block Rockin' Beats!)
4. Neneh Cherry - Raw Like Sushi (My Bitch!)
5. Crowded House - Together Alone (Private Universe!)
6. Dire Straits - Making Movies (Skateaway!)
7. Bob Dylan - Time Out Of Mind (Lovesick!)
8. Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP (Stan!)
9. Emmylou Harris - Red Dirt Girl (The Pearl!)
10. Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland (1983!)
11. Aimee Mann - Whatever (I Should've Known!)
12. Nirvana - Unplugged In New York (Where Did You Sleep Last Night!)
13. La Oreja De Van Gogh - Dile Al Sol (Sonare!)
14. Pearl Jam - Live Jones Beach 3 (Red Mosquito!)
15. Tom Petty - Wildflowers (You Don't Know How It Feels!)
16. Radiohead - OK Computer (Exit Music!)
17. Lou Reed - Magic & Loss (Magic & Loss!)
18. Robbie Robertson - Contact From The Underworld Of Redboy (The Code Of Handsome Lake!)
19. Spearhead - Home (People In Tha Middle!)
20. Paul Simon - Graceland (Homeless!)
21. Bruce Springsteen - MTV Plugged (Light Of Day!)
22. Tricky - Blowback (You Don't Wanna!)
23. Trockener Kecks - De Jacht (Vanavond Voor Altijd!)
24. Urban Dance Squad - Mental Floss For The Globe (God Blasts The Queen!)
25. Velvet Underground & Nico (Black Angel's Death Song!)

Now who's going to start the (separate) thread with the 25 favourite compilations... ?
