Yeah, I think that it will take BC in Nebraksa a while to understand that we can't really run a true "WCO" in college.

I am glad, trojanchick99, that you have said what you said.

I was lucky to get tickets to the Arkansas game (90,000+ in attendance).

I think I saw you! we're you the one with the bucket and shovel trying to keep up with Traveler 4??????

JK..On Friday morning, I was home and the FED-Ex lady was standing in front of the house waving to me (I was in my office but visible)..I went down and she asked if I could sign for my neighbor's letter...sure, why not.

He and his wife moved in 9 months ago; paid $535k CASH for a fixer-upper..he is also a dedicated USC Trojan fan...you can tell by his shirt, hat and banner flying from the roof. I hand him the letter and he says thanks...then he asks, "Since you signed for it, you want what's inside??/" (We've talked and he knows I'm related to Shaun Cody and also a die-hard)...He says, "Its tickets to the Arkansas game!"

:yikes: I thanked him immensely but told him I couldn't make it due to other plans...

Random thought: Depending on how many points the Trojans put on the board, some people may start asking, "Whose Norm Chow???

More sick stats: USC had the ball for 92 seconds in the first quarter. Result 28 points.

Over the two games, Matt Leinart has lead 16 drives. Result, 13 TD's, 1 missed field goal, 1 ended by halftime and 1 INT (result of a horrid non-PI call).

The beauty of Matt is that he knows how to read Defenses so well, he can audible as a college qb. That is not fair to opposing Defenses.

OK, that does it! Who are you, how do you know so much and where can I get one????? I've read ur post since last year and you're right on target with everything!!! :hyper:

Respectfully,

Even more sick stats: Leinart has changed the play at the line of scrimmage 8 times. Six of those went for TDs.

The internet is my friend. And, I have too much time on my hands.

I'm just a stat junkie, plus when the stats are that amazing they are easy to remember.

I've been a trojan fan thick and thin since 1965...My neice (married into our family) graduated USC - she's a Special ED teacher in Redondo Beach; my nephew graduated ASU...my brother is a diehard Notre Dame fan...

My neice's mother was John Robinson's personal secretary...he came to the wedding..Coach took a lot of ribbing from everyone there as it was during their down years...it was all in fun. :)

I hate The Pigs and on the surface I find this stat hilarious. But what troubles me is that it shows that Arkansas retained posession for over 13 minutes in the quarter. We have the best rush defense in the SEC, they have the best rushing offense. We'll see early tomorrow how they match up. I just hope we don't let the score get too close.

Pretty good stuff

Nebraska v ISU is looking interesting next week (as in, if ISU was having trouble with army....... maybe Nebraska can get a win) lol.

Man, USC was loosing in the 1st qtr?! I wish it were a closer game in the end.

Bama's doing well......

and another week in college football goes by !

That 1st quarter against Oregon was horrid. Bad Officiating, uncharacteristic penalties and Matt Leinart just wasn't playing well. However, even with 3 scholarship corners, USC's D played well against a pretty good offense.

This ASU game should be fun. Coach Carroll seems to be able to shut down Coach Koetter's Offense, and with 'SC's O you only need a couple of stops.

Oh, and USC total punts for the season stands at: 4

What does Tom Malone do to kill time on the bench???? He's probably got time to do his calculus and psychology papers during the game! poor guy, how can you maintain stats at that rate of .75 punts per game??????

I'll be watching that game. :D

And listening to my Nebraska pregame, 5 hours prior to kickoff

after a bye week........can BC get his offense up and running??
We'll find out inabout 12 hours!

Ibetter get my rest!

Whoah, Bama!

Another ugly win, 2x OT, but a win.

what an unusual 4-0 for Nebraska

Well, he got a little more work in the first quarter.

Damn, I wish the Trojans would stop spotting their opponents so many points in the first half.

I missed the first half, followed it on my telephone web-page...but, after seeing that late hit that Leinart took, it seems that he was thrown for a loop for the first 30 minutes...as a former QB myself, I remembered those hits for quite a while during a game...

I read a blurb in this morning's OC Register...the writer, Steve Bisheff, says.."Once the new play-callers (coaches) Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkissian decided to cut out the cute stuff and ram it down ASU's throat, Leinart found his rythym and put the game back on track..."

I agree; I really think that USC probably finds it mundane to run up the score every Saturday and they find the come-back opportunity to be the only challenge they face....

I was a Disneyland, wearing my Trojan hat and red shirt, people around me saw that I was trying to focus on my web-phone...I can't tell you how many people groaned when they asked the score...I left the park when it was 21-3...it was a long drive home but when I turned on the tube, it was 21-17...a fine ending to a great day.......:yikes:

Heh........

Go figure. THe great, invincible USC actually had to run to win a game. Makes me laugh.

I can't imagine what would happen if they should loose. I think people would be crying in the streets, or somebody would have a heart attack, and the media would go even more crazy.
