Bush may end up being basically a 3rd down specialist in the NFL (and its crazy to think that the top overall pick could be used for a guy who ends up in that role), White will be an every down back.
Its quite possible in 5 years White will be the best NFL player from last night's game.

If USC plays any defense in the last 5 minutes of the game and holds on, White is clearly the MVP.

Well, perhaps Andy Reid's Eagles or Mike Martz's Raiders (pending) will trade up to get Bush, 'cause he fits into their offenses. Then in five years, Bush will probably want to put a gun in his mouth.

Well, if y'all don't mind, I believe I will start a new thread now. The regular season is over, but championship teams are fused and welded together in the offseason

Recruiting, drama, ............"you'll have things you'll want to talk about

and I

will

too."

Yes, that right, even Mr. Rogers.

So, I hope to see youall in the next thread. Happy New Year. It was a fun season, but there is always more to come :hyper:

:lock:

So be it. But the new thread is there, waiting for when that happens. I would think it would be better top keep all the post season talk here...... but yeah, it is over the usual 500 limit, I suppose :der:

it is what it is

maybe if we get this thread to 1000 it'll cause the server to crash because it's obvious 1000 posts in one thread will do that nowadays

then maybe elvis can get totaltickets to give him enough money to buy a new server, but unfortunatly to do so, it'll force each one of us to have totaltickets.com tattoed to our asses in order to use interference... and we'll have to pay for it ourselfs, with a percentage of that cost going back to elvis for "maintnence" fees

Yeah, and some of us just can't do that 'cause we already have exclusive contracts with StubHub.

5 dollars a post sounds fair, but the tattoo discount will bring it down to 2 dollars a post. you are also forced to wear light blue thongs so that it is visible that you like blue crack, and so that the tattoo is visible at all times.

The "Stub" Hub tattoo goes somehwere other than our ass though.

Goooooodnight everybody.

On another note, I hope a million Trojan fans flooded ESPN's mailboxes last night for jinxing them with the "Greatest Team Ever" series on SportsCenter.

i think they should just create a legion of robot officials. or use the NFL challenge system, whichever is easier.

Robot officials will definitely be easier.

Anyhoo, the college challenge thing got silly in the bowl season. During the Orange Bowl, it seemed that they just reviewed every play.
"Weatherford under center for Florida State, play clock running down, he calls time out."
"The Play is under review"
"After further review, there is indisputable eveidence that the QB called timeout and I granted said timeout"

They were reviewing some stuff in that game that was not even close to questionable as to what had happened.

Just give Vince Young next year's Heisman Trophy now; let him go into the draft and be #1....he's got nothing else to prove....

I'm sure you were saying the same thing about Leinart last year

if young's smart he'll come out now. he's not like leinart... he's a QB that relies on his legs, not his arm. one low hit next year in a 70-3 blow out over some crappy big 12 team and his NFL career is over.

as the sports guy put it...

8:40 -- Let's be honest -- there's no way Vince can succeed in the NFL with that throwing motion. It's impossible. It can't happen. I'm telling you. There has never been a successful NFL quarterback who threw like that. And by "that," I mean, "throws like someone who just realized they have dog poop on their hand and is trying to fling it off."

That's why college football is so much better than NFL, I believe

You don't have to do what every other team in the nation does to succeed
