Based on your CD collection, I'd suggest something off of Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (Jesus, Etc. is my favorite, closely followed by I Am Trying To Break Your Heart and Ashes of American Flags). I think you also might like Velvet Underground (I'd recommend Heroin). You definitely need to get some Pixies. Come On Pilgrim was my first Pixies album, and I went from there.

I like that other Walkmen song better . . . . . from the same album, but is sounds even more U2 than U2 on HTDAAB . . . . what was the name of it??? I remember I thought it was "Vertigo" because I heard it on the same day of the Vertigo world premiere on KROQ.
