another fantasy thread  .. which are the 10 cities you want to visit and you hope to visit.

i am quite realistically about going to 50% of these places.

1) Las Vegas ( USA) - ( or is it Los Vegas) - whatever i hope you know what i mean. i gotto here someday before i die. I am only slightly over 25 .dont ask me why i have put LV as no 1  .

2) New York (USA) - i am definitely touring USA someday - that is 100% sure. may be i will be on time for the new towers

3) Miami (USA) - some place are aunties, but there is no place like Miami. I gotto see Miami beach. I have to earn some money before I can do that. If my work doesnot take me to USA for sometime, I will take a tourist visa someday

4) Tokyo ( Japan) - big big city this, japan always fascinated me.

5) Melbourne ( Australia ) - what better than watching a cricket match at MCG

6) Dublin ( Ireland) - the land of U2. .. hail dublin.

7) Paris ( France ) - I should have gone to paris when I was in london . i missed it..i wont miss it if i get the opportunity next time.

8) Kathmandu ( Nepal) - so near, yet so far

9) Wellington ( NZ) - let me keep on dreaming.

10) Toronto ( Canada) - I hope to go to canada as well some day.

i am sure i will make 5 of these 10 .

I will assume this will be places I have never ever visited before in my life.

1) Monte Carlo, Monaco. If I get to live there, that means I most probably am filthy rich/successful.
2) Ipswich, Suffolk, England. Home of the Blues.
3) Paris, France. Just because.
4) Cambridge, England. To get a decent education.
5) Boston, MA, USA. To see Dropkick Murphys.
6) Kia Kia, New Zealand. Because it's pretty.
7) Melbourne, Australia. Why the hell not?
8) London, England. More specifically SW19 to see Wimbledon.
9) Dublin, Ireland. Yep.
10) Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I was running out of places.

I'd rather live in a foreign city and soak in the culture, rather than just visit...

in no particular order:

New York
London
Paris
Munich...
Dublin
Berlin
Milan
Jerusalem
Hong Kong
Singapore

I've been to Montreal and other parts of Quebec as well as various cities in New York and Florida, so my wish list is:

1. Belfast, Northern Ireland. for a special someone.
2. Glasgow, Scotland. my children would love to see it too, family routes.
3. Dublin, Ireland. lol- who doesn't want to go to Dublin?
4. London, England. a place I've always wanted to see.
5. Manchester, England- family ties.
6. Boston- New England charm, sites I would like to see.
7. Bethlehem, Israel. religious significance.
8. Paris, France. So many things I have heard about it...
9. Athens, Greece. see #8.
10. Rome, Italy. Hmmm....I should put Italy much higher. By all acounts a lovely country to visit.

2. Sydney
3. Dublin
4. Los Angeles

 Ipswich is a horrible, HORRIBLE place. I applied to go to university there and went down for the open day. I got there, walked around the city, got straight back on the train and came home.

Suffolk itself is beautiful, but Ipswich is full of idiot drunken rude boys, pregnant 12 year old girls and drug dealers. All the buildings are the ugliest things you've ever seen, and half of it is falling down.

Anyhoo, :hmm: cities I'd like to visit.:hmm:

I'm lucky enough to be able to say I've visited a lot of the places that were on my wish list - I went travelling around the US, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific last year, and I've also seen a lot of Europe, including A LOT of the Mediterranean and some of the middle east - Israel, Syria, Egypt, etc, but places I still have on my list are:

1) Machu Picchu, Peru
2) Kathmandu, Nepal
3) All of Vietnam and a lot of China
4) Tokyo
5) Queenstown, New Zealand South Island
6) Vancouver, Canada
7) Alaska (no particular place in alaska - just alaska)
8) South Pole, Antartica (for the expidition and adventure)
9) Northern Norway
10) Italy - specifically Tuscany and Rome

I'm sure there's some I've forgotten :hmm:

Ooh Cape Town, South Africa. And Zanzibar! ooh and the Seychelles! Oh god, there's no way I can keep it to 10..........

I  travel

tsk

I suppose Norwich must be better because it has an airport and a cathedral?

I suppose I'll be specific.

2) Portman Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, England, IP1 2DA. Every Saturday from 3 pm to 5pm.

Being a Forest fan, I still can't understand why in the hell you would want to go to Ipswich

I'm not too picky, because I haven't really traveled anywhere, other than Northern Ireland in 1999 and then moving here. I've only been in Canada for about an hour, and never been west of the Mississippi River in the US. :reject: Anyway, my top ten places (not all cities) would be:

Prague
Sweden
Germany
New Zealand
Montreal
Australia
Egypt

and stealing these from bammo:

Machu Picchu, Peru
Alaska (no particular place in alaska - just alaska)
South Pole, Antartica (for the expidition and adventure)

I  Norwich. Norfolk as a whole might be very rural and backwards , but Norwich is nice. I've only been through Ipswich on the train.

1. Miami (USA)
2. New York (USA)
3. Dublin (Ireland)
4. Sydney (Australia)
5. Tokyo (Japan)
6. Paris (France)
7. Mexico City (Mexico)
8. Rome (Italy)
9. Cairo (Egypt)
10. Bergen (Norway)

And Amsterdam, Pequin, Toronto, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, San Francisco, etc...

Well, I guess I've traveled a lot--I've been just about everywhere I'd like to go except for Montreal and Tokyo.

yeah that?s why you?re the "Joy Full" Girl

Well I have never been to other country. Once, I went to a city that was near Argentina, but only that. I forgot in my list but I want to visit Bariloche too ;D

I want to see tara's brooch...one day

Dublin(the national museum)
Perth(Aus)
Dublin( stop-off point to Wicklow Mountains)
Florence(Italy)
Dublin( a walk on the beach)
Jeffrey's Bay*(Africa)
Dublin(the Botanic Gardens)
Mexico DF
Dublin( take in some music)
Denpasar(Bali)

and Dublin

* isn't actually a city, but a place I've always wanted to see.
I think my daughter-in-law loved the main birthday present I chose for her ..."Salute- travel, wine and food of Southern Italy" I wrote inside it "dream out loud, happy travels" I hope she gets there
:)

I've already been to most US major cities, so I'm going with European ones:

Dublin
St. Petersburg
London
Berlin
Paris
Vienna
Rome
Moscow
Geneva
Stockholm
Amsterdam
Prague
Madrid

Some US cities I haven't been to but would like to see:

New Orleans
Seattle
Boston
LA and San Diego (spent all my Calif. time from Bakersfield north)

These are the only NFL franchise cities I have not seen. Oh and Las Vegas is cool. I have been there several years ago, but I didn't get there for the U2 thing though:sigh:

Well I feel so greedy. I want to list the whole world now!

:yikes: Sounds a lot like Suffolk, VA  Don't ever go there if visiting VA Beach- come to think of it, forget VA Beach too. It's dirty, crowded and it sucks. Go to the Outer Banks of NC instead.
