U2's Bono Coming to Louisville
During the past 20 years he has climbed to the heights of rock and roll fame, and has become an outspoken advocate for dozens of world issues.
Now Bono, the lead singer of U2, is coming to Louisville for a special visit this weekend. Its is part of Bono's "Heart of America Tour" which began last Sunday -World AIDS Day- in Nebraska.
The idea is to spread the word about the AIDS virus and its affect on Africa and throughout the world, including here locally.
He is coming to Northeast Christian Church on Saturday night. Using his status, he's expected to urge the audience of 1200 to find solutions to the AIDS epidemic.
All 1200 tickets to the event are already spoken for. The only way to see Bono is on the news.
