Wolf Snapped Up!
Last night's auction of Bono's artworks for the "Peter & The Wolf" project raised a hefty $368,000 for charity.
The auction, attended by Bono and Ali, along with Gavin Friday, Maurice Seezer and others associated with the charity CD and book, took place at Christie's in New York.
Fifteen of Bono's illustrations, aided by daughters Jordan and Eve, went under the hammer. Bono's self-portrait, "Baked Bean Boy," raised a hefty $60,000 in "frenzied bidding" as one observer put it.
All proceeds benefit the Irish Hospice Foundation and hospice care providers around the world.
More details as we get them.
