Moby takes the Web & Dublin from U2...
Eminem's VERY best friend Moby played Dublin on Sunday night in The Point Theatre fresh from beating U2 at the European MTV Awards in Barcelona.
The diminutive New York resident, real name Richard Melville Hall, is best known for his Techno beats, his eclectic versatility as a musician, and his ambient tunes that seem to be the backdrop for most TV commercials.
He beat U2 at last week's MTV European Awards for Best Web Site (www.moby.com) then played a storming set at Dublin's Point to a roaring sellout crowd.
Moby hit the stage at 9pm and played classics such as Go, Play, alongside some of his newer tracks.
Obviously the busy events of the last week have taken their toll on the talented maestro as he didn't have much energy to chat with fans on his Web Site.
He stated in his online diary: "I'm in Dublin now and I'm very tired so I'm going to sleep."
