CORR, WHAT A WEDDING
Caroline Corr will marry her long-term boyfriend in Spain this week, 3am can reveal exclusively. The Corrs' drummer will tie the knot with Frank Woods at beautiful Deya in Majorca. The couple have been planning their big day since arriving in the village last week.
They will exchange vows at a tiny village church on a mountain top then hold a ?250,000 reception at the five-star La Residencia Hotel, which was owned until recently by Virgin boss Richard Branson.
Our source said: "The wedding is either on Thursday or Friday but Caroline won't give anything away. Guests including Bono and The Edge are expected to arrive today."
An entire floor has been booked at the hotel where rooms cost ?500 a night and the honeymoon suite is decked out in white lilies and muslin.
Caroline's father Gerry will give her away with sisters and bandmates Andrea and Sharon as bridesmaids. Brother Jim will also be there. Extra security staff have already been drafted in to guard the hotel in case fans or press try to gatecrash the wedding.
Caroline got engaged to Woods in April after a turbulent five-year relationship. Frank, a Dublin property developer, met the percussionist in a nightclub. Their relationship appeared strained when she quit his luxury Dublin pad shortly before sister Sharon's wedding in July last year. But they rekindled their romance and she moved back in with him earlier this year. Since then he has jetted worldwide to watch her on tour. "They are closer than ever now," said a pal.
"They got to the stage where they wanted to make it official and tie the knot. They are deeply in love."
