Charity Started By U2 Fans Gets Through to Bono
U2News has received the following news update from the African Well Fund:
The African Well Fund is pleased to announce that a plaque honoring Bono on the receipt of enough funds to build ten wells in Africa for his birthday has been completed and has been delivered to the singer. It can be viewed on our site at http://www.africanwellfund.org. Also, our first well will soon be completed in Mukini, Uganda. We hope to get pictures of this soon. Stay tuned for further developments!
