Vegetarians are sprouting up all over Hollywood, and so many celebrities are kicking the meat habit that it's hard to decide who the sexiest is. After all, what's sexier than someone who exudes both passion and compassion?
We know that it's no small task to narrow the list of vegetarian delights to just one celebrity vegetarian beefcake and one flesh-free femme fatale?that's why we're asking you to decide, with our third annual "Sexiest Vegetarians Alive" poll.
From top model and first niece Lauren Bush and pop princess Kelly Osbourne to Hollywood hunk Josh Hartnett and hip-hop hottie Common, this year's crop of vegetarian celebs is hotter than a bowl of jalape?os. And they all stay slim and super-sexy on vegetarian diets.
Celebrities cite many reasons for forgoing flesh foods, from avoiding the cruelty to animals inherent in meat production to improving their own health and helping the environment. Hartnett has explained his decision this way, "One day I was cutting up a chicken for my mom, and I hit a tumor with the knife. There was pus and blood all over the place. That was enough for me."
