U2's Book of Love.

(03/04/04) -- It's a trip when you realize that U2 are actually considered a classic rock band these days. It's not that they're that old or really play Led Zeppelin-ish type of rock and roll, as much as they've just produced consistently timeless music. At least that's what I consider classic rock as a genre: music that transcends time barriers; which is why U2's sound still rings with the same honest vitality when they first started. In celebration of U2's amazing career, the band is planning on releasing a full-color, hardcover book in 2005. According to the publisher, the book will "show the band not just in the context of a rock band, but as figures in world culture." The release of In The Name of Love: u2 by U2 will coincide with the release of the band's tenth studio album, as well as with the 25th anniversary of the band's first record Boy. Moreover, early rumors of the new album suggest that it's pretty darn rockin'.
