Meteor Awards tickets on sale Friday
Tickets for the 2003 Meteor Ireland Music Awards, featuring live performances from Samantha Mumba and Westlife, go on sale this Friday 7 February.
In a new voting system introduced for the 2003 awards, members of the public are being asked to vote on a shortlist of nominees in each category, compiled by Irish music industry representatives, music journalists and DJs.
Voting in the fifteen categories is taking place over the next three weeks by text messaging.
Other acts tipped to attend the ceremony include U2 - who swept the boards in eight categories last year - Sin?ad O'Connor and Meatloaf.
Tickets cost ?30 from usual outlets nationwide. The awards ceremony will take place on 3 March 2003.
