Bono Mention in March Issue of SPIN


In the March 2003 issue of SPIN, Bono has a brief mention in the "Celebrities get to name their own children! Hilarity Ensues!" section.

The blurb states:
"Perhaps to make up for his own shortcomings in the same department, U2 frontman Bono (and his more traditionally titled wife, Alison Stewart) gave his first son the name Elijah Bob Particius Guggi Q, then presumably ran out of room on the birth certificate."

What a great name, though! Surely the name of a great poet. At the very least, it serves as a nice ice-breaker.

The name Bob is after his Grandfather.
Patricius is possibly someone on Ali's side
Guggi.....well, we all know that story.
