Edge and Bono were performing again last night... just after Edge had outbid Leonardo di Caprio at a charity auction.

At a party to mark the Dublin premiere of Martin Scorsese's 'Gangs of New York', Edge got into a fierce bidding war against none other than Leonardo di Caprio - they were competing to pay for the latest event for the childrens charity Make A Wish.

Edge won the bidding war - at a cool 85,000 Euro!

No sooner had he written out the cheque, than he joined Bono to perform an acoustic version of U2's 'The Hands That Built America', the song written for the film soundtrack.
