I'm still on the lookout for a certain baby band poster I saw once on ebay and havent seen since... I wish I'd tried to get it then!

I thought that was the name but then I thought maybe I just made that up That's it!!!! That place is awesome. There was so much in that I could have bought but we didn't have that much time to shop around so I just grabbed a poster and left.

Yeah, they do have a lot of great stuff, some of it pretty rare, but... their prices!!

I understand why a some extremely rare first edition of a first LP made in 1000 copies in the 70's should be expensive, but...

I remember finding a number of bootlegs there, which you could easily download from several U2 pages, prices so high that it felt like day-time robbery! I don't remember the exact prices, but it was way way more than it should be, looking at the prices of the materials used for it (cd, printing of *coughcrapcough* cover etc) and time spend on the internet to download it...

But, as I said, they do have a lot of great stuff and it hard not to start when entering that store!

I got that Edge poster along with many other you see there on my walls from the following magazine...

...it's a 15 page magazine devoted solely to U2 that I bought back in the summer of 1992 and included 10 53 cm x 40 cm size posters.

Yea...I can tell you bought this in the summer of 1992....it reads at the very bottom that it should be displayed until my birthday of that year

hmm you can get them at nearly every drugstore here(they do photo service)
they have online photo service, you upload your files to their site, and they make prints of it, in various sizes including 30x40 cm(11.8110236 x 15.7480315 inch) and 50x75 cm (19.6850394 by 29.5275591 inch)
I gotta love google for doin' the centimeters to inch thing for me
otherwise, try your local photo store, they might have an online service aswell
make sure your pics are high pixeled!
with google, you can find out how many cms/inches you can make with the pixels, I think an inch = a pixel, but I'm not sure on that... if you can't figure it out, just tell me the pixels, I have a photo editing program that can tell me how many cm/inch it is

Zoop... the horizontal poster in pic #5 - the headshot one above the TV - did you buy that at a show or through a regular retail source? I would to have one of those if I knew how to get my paws on it.

they sold those on the first leg of the US tour. I didn't see any posters like that in Dublin or on the 3rd leg. I bought one in Chicago but they gave me two by accident! I gave it away to a fellow interferencer that helped us get a ride back to our hotel. It's a very odd length and would need professional framing so I have mine rolled up in a box with my other Vertigo stuff

^ I know if I'd seen one at the Garden in November, I'd have certainly bought it! And I didn't look much at Charlotte, but the stands I did see weren't carrying ANY posters.

Along those lines, does anyone know of a source for items that were offered during the tour? Or even several sources? For example, I'd love to find someone offering this poster or even the one with the large red "V" on it. I'd also like the chance to buy the Vertigo hoodie... that I could have bought in NY and didn't!!

This is pretty funny, I stole this from the Monterrey Vertigo concert, it was plastered against the wall and I just tore it off as we were walking out of the stadium. For some reason I love that it's a U2 poster with Cigarettes and Beer prices on it in spanish no less

Everyone has really cool rooms. I use the calendars and in a lot of the older ones, the dates are on the botton, so I cut them off and hang the pictures on my walls. I also make 8x10's with pictures. It's really easy and you can do it with your own computer.

My husband actually let me hang my Vertigo poster in our stairwell at home-so when I go down the steps in the evening I look at it. A friend at work gave me an Unforgettable Fire poster from a show in Germany dated 1984. He said his parents found it in their basement & were going to throw it out! I do have my little shrine corner in my bedroom in my shoe closet--pictures & articles I have saved over the years.

I have this magazine too...Great posters!!!..I just cant get my self to tear them up yet..When I move I will use them..I also have a giant Joshua Tree Poster book...It is a very large book and has very large posters..I found it in a local record shop I frequented some years back... that by the way I going back because they have a few rare POP posters when I last visited.. and I have several posters in cylinders that Im saving for my larger place...the record shop I go to is so cool it is owned by a young rocker couple and they have a lot of rare stuff Rock and Roll rare stuff....

P.S...For posters with a lot of folds..I Iron them before I put them on the walls...of course I put a cotton cloth over it and on medium heat iron out the folds...

Tell me where you got the orange Pop one. I collect Pop/PopMart posters. I've got over a dozen and keep a tally of all the ones I don't have but know exist (mostly don't buy them because they are the same as ones I have, just different city and dates), and I've never seen the orange one! You wouldn't be interested in selling it, would you?

Kennerado got the orange Popmart poster on ebay, I remember us talking about it the day it arrived or right soon after from ebay. I doubt it's for sale because it wasn't too long ago.... I think earlier this year or late last year. Of course I can't speak for kennerado, so maybe you'll get lucky!

Your picture really reminds me of my sister. She listened to Unforgettable Fire all the time and thought Bono was coming to our tiny town to take her away from it all. She looks a bit like you,so this is really funny. If I were 14 today,I would have all those posters also. I think my husband would not think this was a good thing,even though he likes u2 also.
