I'm getting a kick out of this thread....can totally relate....It's nice to know I'm not alone!
Just thought of another incident....
Recently on vacation I noticed a lifeguard had a tattoo on his shoulder of Africa with the word "ONE" in the middle. I'm sure you would have thought what I was thinking......
When I got the chance I asked him if he was a Bono/U2 fan.
He asked, "What?"
"Your tattoo," I say.
"Oh, no. I'm from Africa. I've never had anyone ask that before."
I replied, "Sorry, I have a one-track U2 mind lately."
I wish I could have asked him more about it, but he was on duty, and I didn't want to distract him.
