YAY!!! I am a new aunt

I just want to share my excitement. My sister-in-law gave birth to a 9 lb. baby boy!!! (ouch) I can't wait to go see my new nephew. So, in honor of a new baby boy in my family, I think we need some baby U2 photos. post away! (i would, but i don't have any.. )

I can't get used to being an aunt. I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews and I'm only 21.

by the time i was 21, I had 2 nephews and 1 niece. It is nice having older siblings, they took away the pressure to have grandchildren for my parents..

I love being an Aunt, I spoil the hell out of my nieces and nephews. I guess they reap the benefits of me not having my own children. My eldest niece got upset with me a few months ago when I told her that one day that I will have my own children and that I will not be able to spoil her anymore. She did not go for that at all. Than my 5 yr. old nephew over heard my conversation and said "Aunt Iris, when you have a baby are you going to get naked in a hottub with a man?" I was like "WTF, did my nephew just ask me!" my niece laughed and I quickly changed the subject. I told my sister-in-law about the comments her son made to me and she was shocked. You just gotta love the things little kids say.

Congratulations! I have two nephews and three nieces. It's great - you get to spoil them and have fun with them and then send them home with their parents! I try not to spoil them too much though, since my mom already goes overboard in that department.
