That IS a nice interview. Thanks for letting us know about it. I especially liked the way he described how vivid his early memories of the band's experiences in America are, compared to who he had breakfast with this morning. Everything in the early 80's must have been invested with so much urgency for them, a make or break time. He also seemed genuinely grateful for the ongoing support from the radio station, and for the turnout at the rally.
And of course, that whiskey voice is always great to listen to.:)
