He's a designer :)

Born:
1957, Belgium

Lives:
Paris, France

Education:
1980 Graduates from Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerpen. One of The Antwerp Six.

History:
1977-80: Designer for Ok? Sportswear Collection.
1980-88: Styles for series of Belgian fashion Magazines
1982-85: Starting up own line - not commercialised. Used for fashion shows and competitions.
1984-96 Designs men's collection for the Belgian manufacturers Bartsons.
1988-95: Collection Walter Van Beirendonck - Walter World Wide
1898: Designs shirts for bicycle race Tour of Belgium
1991-92: Designer of sportswear collection Rhinosaurus Rex for Gianfranco Ferre, Italy.

1984-96 Teaches at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp

Walter Van Beirendonck is the wild one of the Antwerp Six. The international fashion world still remembers the models falling off the stage during his most spectacular fashion show at The Lido in Paris, May 1995.
Fascinated by toys, computers and new media, Walter presents colourful and very hot collections. He is one of the first designers who has explored and used the Internet and CD-Roms. Walter van Beirendonck's newest CD-Rom contains guides to copying his own designs - and of course Walter himself will select the best copy. Or how about trying Walter's Future Face Kit, which will enable you to re-design your face into a proper cyber look.

Thank for the info!

But it looks like that guy has hair in all the wrong places! :lmao:

Duh, I only looked at the first picture... the first two I can't read, but the third one I can :) I'll come back with a translation in a little while

Translation:

U2 between militant passion and emotional tenderness

U2 got reacquainted, Sunday and Monday night, at the Sportpaleis of Anvers, with the grand tradition of concerts given in Belgium in the 80s. The Irish group, who haven't been in Belgium for nine years, are all ready to seduce a public happy to rediscover a certain sobriety. Bono, who took his Monday afternoon to visit the Museum of Modern Arts of Anvers, where his friend the fashion designer Walter van Beirendonck has an exposition, has found the right tone between militant passion and emotional tenderness.

Note: The syntax is different in French, so the sentences are a little revised to accomodate that. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense in English :)

*Thinks*
Is this the guy that made the underpants that said "Fuck the past" on the front and "Kiss the Future" on the back that Bono talked about?

You know........I believe it is.
I used to have the quote in my signature................
