that is a great list tkramer
I saw Springsteen last month, and you're right, he isn't human  After the first three or four songs, I felt like saying,"Um Bruce, can you maybe take a break, maybe just a 2 second pause so I can catch my breath . . ."

LOL!! That's what I was feeling after the sixth encore! I thought it was over as they had closed every show up to that point with Land of Hope and Dreams, but then they covered "Going to Kansas City for the closer"...and it was 15 minutes long!!!!

lucky on seeing INXS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm on a big INXS kick right now. :)

Okay continuing with the answer:
I've been to 4 concerts...lol...The first 2 are Christian bands. :)

dcTalk plus the Ws and Jennifer Knapp (first concert ever...I was 14 and bonkers over dcTalk, Kevin Max,esp) 1999

Audio Adrenaline with Raze, Fono and Riley Armstrong 2000

I'm skipping talking about the 3rd one...its embassarssing!

And last year I saw Everclear and the Exies. Everclear are a kickass band to see live. They were one of our spring concerts where I used to go to college at. That was a great night. A small show in our gym...a few hundred people. Lock Haven is a small(er) school. Around 5000 students. 2003

K and to add soon enough:

Rick Springfield

My sister and I went to see a concert at the performing arts center, and in the little booklet advertising upcoming concerts, they mentioned that there was a Rick Springfield concert in a few months. They described this as a "new" Rick Springfield - dark, introspective, emotional, angry, etc. - which for some reason we found extremely funny

We thought, what if we went to the concert and keep screaming out for Jessie's Girl.

"Play Jessie's Girl!"

"Yeah, that song was great Rick, but do you know what we really want to here? Jessie's Girl!"

And right after he played Jessie's Girl, we would pause for a few seconds, then say, "Play it again!" "Jessie's Girl, woo hoo!"

Anyway, anytime we go to a concert now, we look at each other and whisper, "Play Jessie's Girl!"

:shifty: okay, really not that funny, I guess you had to be there :reject:

impressive lists, guys. we don't get many big name acts around where i live, sadly.

neutral, you saw the wedding present! how were they? no one else i know has even heard of them, but i love them!

oh they were great. I was so into them, I thought I was going to run off the road making the 4 hour drive to the venue. This was the tour after Saturnalia but they played a lot of old stuff too and for a long time. And the girl who sings on Saturnalia (I don't know who it is) was with them. I'm getting into them again now, Seamonsters is good for when the ex is coming back around.

uh...hmm. I was just looking up something and apparently they're getting back together??

It seems David Gedge has decided to reform his old band the Wedding Present following the realisation that his latest band Cinerama were beginning to sound just like them.

yeah no kidding!
