I can't recall where I read this but evidently Larry is serous about having clean ashtrays. He doesn't go for ashtrays clogged with ciggie butts. When he goes to smoke he'll take a napkin and wipe out the ashtray, then light up.

In the "making of one" segment on the best of 90-00 edge can clearly be seen smoking a marlboro light. And bono joked during an elevation show that his hand would involuntarily light up marlboro lights even though he wanted to quit. As for his cigarillos, they are (in my opinion/ experienced eye) Al Capones. Thats what he's smoking in the one video and in the ebttrt video.
