Ok..moving on...so i was listening to HMeTmeKmeKme on the Best of album i just got...and i was just dancing around with my headphones on...and suddenly i hear "You're a big smash....you wear it like mesh" and i'm thinking..ok thats a bit odd... but then i think.."well i guess that could make sense ..i think bono likes mesh shirts..like in the ES video"..and that was that. -later that day- searching around for lyrics, for an away message...and i promptly fall of my chair at my insane stupidity . Its not...uh...mesh...its..RASH! you wear it like a rash! Although on second consideration there are probably many to be found in here that would PREFER the mesh line, but oh well. Has this ever happened to you guys? Messing up the lyrics? Or a friend of yours? I found some of these ones on this http://www.amiright.com website.

You are not alone! I also mess up the lyrics! Especially when I started to become a fan... I made my own version of all the songs thinking I was absolutely right and then got disappointed when I found out that wasn't was Bono was saying! I can't think of any right now, but believe me, I do it veeery often!

the one from "wild honey" ...i don't have anything to say that the smily face isn't saying...

i know i've done that on so many occasions that i'ts probably quite sad...i tend to sing along with ANY song provided i know the melody...
there are a lot of songs on "pop" that i *think* i know the words to, but instead of singing wrong words, i don't think i sasy any real words at all...kind of like the pogues song "turkish song of the damned" (anyone know that song?)--i have no clue what the chorus is, but i still sing along with the cd

I remember what I thought they were saying seemed like such a romantic line...then I found the lyrics and saw what the actual line was...eh. Still romantic. . I kinda prefer my version of that line, but, oh, well. Doesn't make the song any less great for me.

And then there's that whole debate people were having on here as to whether or not Bono is saying "heavy as a truck" or "heavy as a drug" in "Electrical Storm" that I remember from these boards.
