From The Irish Mirror:
BONO'S 'BROTHER' IS JAILED
A PRISONER who claimed he was Bono's brother lived the high life on
stolen money while on the run from jail, a court heard yesterday.
Martin Moore, 34, of no fixed address, fled to Ireland when he first
escaped from a Lincoln-shire jail in 1998. Gloucester Crown Court
heard he was serving a four-year sentence for kidnap and robbery.
Moore returned to England with a girlfriend last year and they both
got jobs at the Castle Inn Hotel in Wiltshire.
But after working as a barman for two and a half days Moore stole
pounds 2,000 from the hotel safe.
The court heard he then fell out with the girlfriend and gave her
pounds 30 for her fare to Ireland before continuing on himself to
Cheltenham.
Police were called when he booked into the town's Kandinsky Hotel
and began using unauthorised credit card numbers he had taken from
guests at the Castle Inn Hotel.
The hotel receptionist also became suspicious when he claimed to be
the brother of U2 star Bono.
Although Moore was drinking pounds 150 bottles of champagne and
travelling in chauffeur-driven cars, he could not pay his hotel bill of
pounds 998.
Moore's current prison sentence will end on December 19.
Judge Lester Boothman jailed him for 12 months for theft and six months
for deception, the terms to run concurrently with his present sentence.

I bet Bono has quite a few 'brothers' in Ireland.
