Our housekeeper saw Bono yesterday. He was walking down Killiney hill, looking scruffy.

Jaysus!! She said they sit in the same pub as she does every Sunday. That was when I passed out so I couldn't hear the rest, but I know where I'm going to be this time tomorrow!!

The pub is called Queens.

It's pretty close to where I live, tho the public transport here is really shitty. Oh well, I can take the car... LOL Anyways, I also found out that Tina's (she's the housekeeper) friend babysits for Aislinn. The world is indeed small, eh?

My husband's uncle lives in Leopardstown off Stillorgan Road. Uncle Pat (a great storyteller) has mentioned that Bono lives nearby, and that he has seen at least Bono in pubs before. And my husband's cousins have friends who have babysat for Edge and Bono...or so uncle pat sez.

So now, with your knowledge of Dublin geography, what are the chances of all that being true??

my husband's family calls their cupboard a "larder."

ok it's not that funny. but they do have weird, foreign words for everyday things that americans know the reeeal names for...like an extension cord...they call a "flex" and stuff like that.

my mom-in-law had a family quiz on year and that was a category in the game. It was hilarious!! (at least to me.)
