This is what my room looked like when I still lived at my mom's...

I REALLY miss my old room sometimes. Some of that stuff I haven't seen in well over a year!

Here's all I really have displayed in my place now. I'm thinking of replacing the AB poster with the Vertigo NYC one I got back in october. I want Rosa to come over and U2 up my place!

34588467%3A%7Ffp336%3Enu%3D3236%3E7%3B4%3E793%3EWSNRCG%3D32333%3A%3C%3B5%3A468nu0mrj

Tour stuff waiting to be put into scrapbooks, etc (pictures, magazines, picks, posters, t-shirts, signs, tickets, etc.)

When I was taking these pictures today I had to take it out :nerd: :reject:

Then I put it right back on my bedroom wall

Very nice April

and Sami, the living room is just about the only clean room in my house atm...

The guest room was serving as a staging area for all my trips, so there's clothes, suitcases, etc. that need to be put away.

My kitchen has not seen any action since lord knows when.

My bedroom has also crap everywhere...

And the basement is presently a drying area for an air matress, two sleeping bags, a tent (one already got put away, yay!)

And there's only about two loads of laundry left for me to do (three down!)

:crack:

Have some cleaning to do :p

I knew I shouldnt've checked this topic..... makes me very very sad.... I AM A LOOOOOSEEEERRRRRRR!!!!
the only things I have are 2 posters from pictures I had on my pc, I can't find 'real' posters anywhere and I don't even have all cds! I still need 3(R&H, Best of 1990-2000, UABRS) ... I don't have any goodies... where did you gals get all those feckin posters???? I want them too

It will look clean... I had a messy room when I lived at my parents... when I moved out, all of a sudden I turned into a bit of a neat freak... house is just in disarray cause I have not really been there that much since September

I believe that long (wide) U2 poster you have there from this tour is the same one I have. I don't have any posters framed or anything (not like I own more than a couple), but would like to get this one framed. I hope it doesn't cost a fortune, as it does not appear to be a standard size :|

Okay, now that I've read this, I'm inspired.

Now I need to go buy a scrapbook for my Interference journal pages, photos from the 10/24 ellipse, 10/24 ellipse wristbands, tickets and maps and other photos from Chicago and Boston, et cetra ...

Lila, thank you!!!!!!!!! I definitely need that for the scrapbook

I have SEVERAL albums devoted to my own Vertigo 05 tour, partially because I'm addicted to taking pictures, and partially because when i went to shows they were mini-vacations, road trips, or GA marathons. I save wristbands, tickets, confetti when possible, and at all but one show I took a picture of the view of the stage from where I was. :nerd:

I got halfway through my Dublin album and then got distracted by the third leg and someone I met at one of the shows. :shifty: I've fallen VERY far behind, and haven't even gotten any pictures developed from my last five shows.

ANYWAY...I have a mini-shrine in my room, because this is enough to have my family raising their eyebrows and wondering if I'm not just a little too obsessed.

ATYCLB poster, San Diego event poster, Time Magazine conver, 2005 calendar, dvd's and CD's (U2 on the bookshelf, non-U2 on in the tower) and an Otto picture I got at the fan convention in Ontario last year that turned out to be Philly 6/12/01, my first show! Also on the bookshelf since this picture was taken is a little lemon-shaped basket from another fabulous Interferencer. :D

The picture next to the mirror is the poster from the U2 iPod...didn't take long to decide which side to put up.

(My room is not nearly this neat right now. :shifty: )

Not that I'm fanatical but I do have a few things hung up around my house:

I think you get the picture. The Vertigo tour stuff is still sitting on my dining room table. That will be a project for mid- 2006. :reject:

My favorite thing is the inflatable Trabant hanging from the ceiling. That ROCKS. :)

 thanks everyone for sharing. i'm motivated to start organizing my collection!

I haven't a camera, but my collection includes hundreds of pins, some very rare, close to 200 postcards, rare as well, patches, posters, photos, signed Bono pics, a cool collection of stickers and books and magazines galore. I also have a collection of programs from charity events Bono has been honored at.
I've been one of ebays best customers over the years, and I don't want to think about how much $ I've spent.
Some of my collection is in frames and albums, but then just got too large. I haven't the time to showcase it, and it bums me out that it sits in boxes.

Miroslava, your scrapbook is sooo cool! =)

u2rulesmyworld: how hard is it to get your camcorder into the shows? do they have any rules about that? that's amazing all the tapes you have!!

I taped my GA bracelet to my mirror to go with my GA bracelet from Elevation and the U2 Fan Day bracelet from the HOF day in 2003. My mother hates it that I'm cluttering up my mirror like that, but I like it. I also have a hugeass collection of magazines with U2 articles and pix in them. That's on a special bookshelf, along with programs from all of the tours except PopMart, which I missed due to a scheduling conflict with Thanksgiving.
