Yay! I'm finally getting The Sims! I ordered it and it should be here in the next few days. Anyway, as I've never played before, I was wondering...do the people actually talk? How does it work? Can't wait to get the U2 Sims!

They talk bunches of gibberish, with thier tone showing mood.... And when one Sim walks up to another and asks if he or she wants to have a baby, and he/she says yes, daisies fly out of the ground. Don't know what else I could tell you...

Wertsie-let me tell you something about the Sims...I bought it, and I thought "man, $37, it better be good"(cause I'm cheap)...I was so addicted to that game. I'd be up until way too late, every free minute I got I played that game.
I actually haven't played it in about 4 months...all this talk makes me want to play it again.

if someone could burn it for me... i'll pay for the postage and the cd

The Sims is a computer game. It's a people simulator, kind of like it's sister game Sim City. You create (or download) a family of characters, place them in a home enviroment and allow them to interact. You help control their mood and slowly build up their house. It sounds kind of weird, but it's really quite fun.

Also, I tried downloading the Sims off Kazza but was unsuccessful. The program was missing key files, or something. Luckily, I recieved the game as a birthday gift.

Can somebody help me? I received my game today and tried to register online but it said that my number is already in use. The game is used, so I don't really know what I can do about that. Is there any way to send the U2 Sims to me via email?!

Wertsie- just don't register it. You can still play it.

p.s. it's not actually a U2 video game, but you can choose to play U2 characters on it.

I know it's not a U2 video game. I have a copy. I went to the page where you can download the U2 "family" but since I can't use my registration code for whatever reason, I can't download them.

Grrr...MORE problems! I can't even play the game now. As soon as I see the street on my screen, I get a stupid error message said that a fatal OE Exception has occurred!
