Sarah is a singer/songwriter. She's from Canada, she married her drummer (is name is Ash) and they're expecting a baby in March. She has 4 studio albums, the most successful of which is 1997's Surfacing. Her most famous single, "Building a Mystery" is off that album. Her other albums are Touch, Solace, and Fumbling Towards Ecstasy.(Which is my favorite.) She also has a B-Side import album, a remix album, and an album of outakes from the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy sessions available to buy. Sarah's biggest claim to fame is founding the Lillith Fair. She has a new album due out sometime in 2002-2003.

Basically, she's awesome.

I loveth Fumbling Towards Ecstacy. It's one of my all-time favorite albums. And the remix album freaking rules. Can't wait for the new stuff.

Oh wow! That's so cool that she's a U2 fan and an Edge fan. I absolutely love Sarah MacLachlan. She has such a beautiful voice and writes such wonderful songs. U2 and Sarah make up the bulk of my CD collection. I still haven't seen Sarah in concert. It'll be more low key than U2 I'm sure, but I'm definitely going when she starts touring again.
