....this is one of my Mom's favorite relatives, her younger cousin Vickie, and someone also dear to me & my sis.

She's having Major Surgery- hip- today.
...i don't know if it's a full, partial replacement, or some other major repair to that area for which she will need Major Rehab afterwards.

SO please send prayers/ good thoughts/ energetic vibes etc....whatever is most comfortable for you.

I haven't been able to get to a computer for days

the surgery went well!

she's in (of course) a good deal of pain, but things are proceeding as planned.
Don't know whether she's headed out already to the rehab place.
I'll find out in the next few days, and report back.

Happy Update

She's moved to rehab in her home area - so she has family to visit & help her.

She's doing very well, and hopes to be home in about a week or so.
