I hate February. In the past eight years, I have lost my brother, my grandfather and Mark's grandmother, we had to put my grandmother into full time care, we had a kid shoot himself at out middle school, a good friend who is a paramedic responded to his own mothers fatal snowmobile accident ... all in the month of February of one of those years.

I approach the month with a sense of dread and am always so relieved when it is over.

It seems that crap always happens to me on the 3rd of the month.
I totally flipped out when my brother said he was getting married on the 3rd of Oct.
I just knew something would go wrong. Turns out the only thing that went wrong was the bar tab....... $15,000

but people I know always die on the 3rd, or have car accidents, or get food poisoning (me ) or get fired (not me, I did do the firing, though )
