Don't stores close early on Saturdays in Canada? Here every store closes at 2 pm... not fun, especially if you get strange cravings in the evenings...

No, early on Sundays here (early being 5pm ) Some places close earlier on Saturdays than weeknights, but most places are still open until at least 6pm on Saturdays, up to 9pm for some stores in malls.

But the store I want to go to is part of a gas station, so it's open late anyway... and if I waited till some ridiculous hour, there's another one across the road that's 24 hrs

Ah... here the stores are closed on Sundays. Well, I guess that in the "big cities" there are stores open 24/7. Here the cows and pigs don't go to the store much

my cravings comment made me sound pregnant...
