We had this bush in the backyard, rather appropriately named a 'butterfly bush' (aka buddelia )....anyway, it used to attract tons of different butterflys.

I could even get them to walk onto my hand.


And that is the only time I would ever be happy to have an insect on my body

oh that's sooooooooo !!

such a lovely flowering bush.....there's PLENTY of it planted in different gardens & parks ALL over the NYC area!
and yes a good amount of monarchs, Tigertails, some of the blue irridescent { not the all-electric blue one of the trreopis/semi-tropics, the darker blue o ne with the irridescent flashes} stopp by on them.
