The series finale of Six Feet Under. I've had it for nearly a month (Blockbuster's late return policy ). I watched part of it yesterday, reasoning that I'd seen the episode before, I'd be fine...but I got to the scene where I started crying when I first saw it, and I had to turn it off again. I've never seen anything SO sad/happy/moving/heartbreaking/beautiful ever before. And when I say crying, I mean the kind where you feel like someone's ripping out your still-beating heart and handing it to you.

I've seen most of those, and many other moving movies/shows, but this is something else, in a whole other category of moving. And it stayed with me for days and days after I'd first seen it.

Five movies? I'd have to think about it...

The Shawshank Redemption would definitely be top 5...

probably Bull Durham, too.

Before Sunrise/Before Sunset....I love them, not sure about top 5 though...top 10 definitely.

High Fidelity, perhaps.

I'd have to make a top 10, and then cut it down.

How is everyone???

I just watched Capote. It was okay. Philip Seymour Hoffman really became Truman Capote for this movie. But I didn't really like how he befriended murderers...I cared about the victims, not the murderers.
