"New Year's Day"

Yeah...

All is quiet on New Year's Day
A world in white gets underway
I want to be with you
Be with you night and day
Nothing changes on New Year's Day
On New Year's Day

I will be with you again
I will be with you again

Under a blood red sky
A crowd has gathered in black and white
Arms entwined, the chosen few
The newspapers says, says
Say it's true it's true...
And we can break through
Though torn in two
We can be one

I...I will begin again
I...I will begin again

Oh...
Maybe the time is right
Oh...maybe tonight...

I will be with you again
I will be with you again

And so we're told this is the golden age
And gold is the reason for the wars we wage
Though I want to be with you
Be with you night and day
Nothing changes
On New Year's Day
On New Year's Day

Ham, sweet potatoes, corn, mashed potatoes.... I think that was it...

and now my mother is trying to force chocolate cream pie on me  doesn't she know I want to lose weight?

  Any leftovers from dinner or dessert?

**I could have that too (except for the sweet potatoes), but that would involve cooking

instant karma's gonna get you
gonna knock you right on the head
you better get yourself together
pretty soon you're gonna be dead
what in the world you thinking of
laughing in the face of love
what on earth you tryin' to do
it's up to you, yeah you

:hmm: It's something I could work on

What play?

I don't know yet :) I'm definitely coming down to Brantford in May to visit VP and Sarah, and I want to see a play while I'm so close to TO. I saw Miss Saigon there ten or twelve years ago and was blown away. I've always wanted to be able to see more theatre

I'm open to suggestions

<-- has far too much stuff in her cupboards and fridge to choose from, and thus has no idea what to have for supper

Theres a problem I can envy

Actually, we're doing well at the moment, because of the holidays. Usually our cupboards tend to be a little bare

Just not the weekend of May 13th okay? I'd hate to miss seeing you because of *another* cousin's wedding

 That would be too ironic for words, wouldn't it?

I can't remember what the exact date was, but I thought I'd try to visit when I could see Sarah's Jazz band concert in the spring
