On the heels of Thursday night’s F2 tornado in Iowa City, and Friday night’s supercell thunderstorm siege in Indianapolis,

the severe weather threat continues through this Easter holiday weekend. The first round is in progress tracking from the lower Missouri Valley (eastern Nebraska, Iowa, northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas), through Iowa, northern Missouri, extreme southern Minnesota, to northern and central Illinois, including Chicago, overnight and early Sunday morning. Most will be hail-producing thunderstorms. some tornadoes are possible. .
