Are there any places in Canada with rude names? Can't say i can remember seeing any!!

I was going to ask her a question about the European shows as well, so i don't know if any of you'll be able to tell me! I wondered if there's any shows before they hit Britain, like Portugal perhaps?

There's a place called Dildo... And yes, I'm serious *G* In fact, The Arrogant Worms (a Cdn musical comedy group who kick ass) did a song about all the strange names in *tries to remember* Newfoundland, I think (I'd have to find my cd) including there, called "A Night in Dildo" :laugh:
 
Yep, 18 it is! Lots of people here drink WELL before that tho'!

Speaking of pubs actually - a lot of them here are becoming no-smoking quite quickly&also Scottish parliament has just been talking about ending happy hour in bars since it causes binge-drinking which has become a massive prob here i nthe whole of Britain!

I have to agree cos it means nutters are getting their hands on buy 1 drink, get another free&it's like fights galore&stuff with people being paraletically pissed!!!!! :drunk: :drunk: :drunk:
 
Last year, the juniors and seniors went to England and Ireland. Not sure if they drank. Probably. :laugh:

The drinking age is 16 in Greece? I'm possibly going to Greece with my school. :hmm:

Not that I would EVER think about drinking. :angel:
 
They're gonna be in Rome. *lol* they decided on Spain/Italy/France (actually, they're not spending long in France, just 2 days, but she found out that they're just gonna be a couple of KM from Bono and Edge's summer houses on the Riviara :hyper: :hyper)

Yes, Sarah...for 12 days...mid march next year!! :hyper: It means she'll miss her birthday at home, but i told her we'll have a HUGE party when she gets home. :)

I don't know if she'll actually be able to bring herself to go...in grade 8 she spent a few days in Kingston and cried her eyes out from being homesick...

Later that year, she went to Quebec skiiing/snowboarding for a few days, and literally got really sick...I was thisclose to driving there to get her and bring her home...

So, the whole school trip thing hasn't gone well for us, but this is too good of an opportunity for her to pass up.
 
I think I'm going to go to Greece next year. I didn't go to Italy this year because none of my friends did, and I'm kicking myself for not going.

When's Sarah's birthday? I'm March 29th. :)

There's a town just outside of Glasgow called East Kilbride, well there's a West version too but east is the well known one!
