Oh hai thar!
Quick drive-by between meetings. This next one is scheduled to be at least 2 hours long. Oh boy!
Breakthrough in my vertigo today!!
Went back to see another specialist doctor and he was finally able to give me some answers. Apparently I have a condition (too long of a name to type out and I can't even pronounce it lol) that makes my balance system highly sensitive. That is why I'm dizzy almost everyday and from certain things and movements that trigger it. After two years of tests, doctors, medications, and ruling everything out, I finally have an answer I'm so excited to finally know where it's coming from.
Unfortunately there is no way to make it go away. He gave me some exercises to do that can help calm it down a little. He said over time, these movements I have to do train my balance sensors to not make me so dizzy when I do certain things that make it a lot worse, like reading, looking at any type of screen, etc.
That's good to hear you finally got some answers! Sucks that it's not curable, but it's cool that you can at least do those excercises to make it less right?

Hi Dazzled...I`m off out for an Italian soon, unfortuantely not in Rome

Thanks GG I'm just surprised that it turned out to be something so simple and they did all the heavy duty medical testing beforehand. I guess they just wanted to rule out anything serious first.
Yep he said it will definitely lesson the severity of the vertigo.
Hi Daz
How are you?
Meeting is delayed a little bit, so I thought I'd pop back here while I wait.
That sucks that it isn't curable, but I'm glad there are ways of making it better! That's good news!

That's good. Were there things you couldn't do because of the vertigo? Perhaps you can do those after a while of doing excercises!
sorry, Kristen, to hear you got such news. But at least now you know after going to so many doctors, that counts for something! Hope the excercises will help you!!
and hey to the joiners
Kristen!!!
for a very split secound I thought like you had found some super spectacular Vertigo Tour live downloiad
I is tired but in pretty good spirits!
WOW they finally found something!!! yeah that does suck, it won't completely go away...but yeah, do those exercises!
You should ALSO ggogle in the condition plus Tai Chiand see whether there's any mention. Tai CHi is often done so slowly it might also help ..... i sdojn't know but it does shtrengthen muscles and promotes good balance! balnce
