I have searched but by accident but only because I was looking for something. I stumbled on to a massive convo and I wanted to throw them through a window. Sorry to say that but it's true.

Now I'm going through the same thing on Instagram with a 14 year old kid telling this girl a slut out of content. Anyways enough ranting! ?

Is Bono okay stems from a couple years back, I think there was some kind of plane accident in New York, where a small hobby plane flew into a building.. and instead of worrying about the people there, someone started a thread called Is bono okay and asked if Bono was in New York at that moment. The ridiculousness of the moment kinda rolled with it and it became an Interference meme.

oh and for those wondering, "I know people" is also an Interference meme. It stems from a user that got warned that he'd get banned if he kept stirring shit, who made a topic in Inside Broadcast as a message to the mods that if they banned him he'd come back and break Interf because he "knew people".

Easy to say that he never came back. :wink:
 
Looooove that Wyclef and Edge performance. Wyclef's guitar sounds like total shit but Edge rocks it like a boss, so cool, and W. and the band have stars in their eyes like little kids. "OhmygodIcan'tbelieveitwe'replayingwiththeEdgggge!"

I know right? It would be fuckin' hilarious and there would be people not aware that it's the band. Though in the digital era there will be more people who know it's U2, but still it would be funny as heck! :lol:



And for the sake of it, they should switch roles, have Edge sing, Adam do backing vocals, Bono percussion, stuff like that... :D

I should shop a band poster for the native sons just for fun. I'm seeing mental pictures in front of me already. And they look hilarious.

I miss the photoshop thread anyway. Good times shopping Bono swinging through cities on his wheelmic during the spiderman fiasco. :giggle: and knight edge and bono. U2 Ottahs...
 
Adam actually has done plenty of backing vocals back in the 80s :). I don't recall which songs it was, was it Two Hearts and Seconds? Not sure. And his vocals are on Fez and MOS as well. Larry's too, of course.


And yes, you definitely should.
 
I know that he can be seen singing on the JT Paris dvd that came with the remaster, but I don't recall what song. The War tour he definitely sang backing for a few songs. :scratch: Wish I could remember.

Also Domo, here's the "is Bono okay" thread. It's not actually as funny as we remember it, but the meme still works. :wink: It became more fun when it started being used as a meme, especially because the origin was so ridiculous.

A lot of interference memes can be found in the threads that competed in the thread survivor. The whole U2 vs Rush bullshite, "Atlanta, Germany" (business trips thread, great read!), battlestar galactica/muldfeld, Morrissey/Redhill/Moggio, Bono lies, and of course the gloriousness that was the Kunstmuseum. Been spending the afternoon reading back. :lol: Shit we had some insane people on here and some great parties! :D
