It's nothing new. Ever since both grandma's died the rest of the family stopped caring. Mom's side finds a new excuse each time not to join our birthdays, and dad's side we haven't been on contact except for my uncle. But I can fully understand my birthday is totally NOT on his mind right now. Why do the good guys get sick and the assholes get to live?
