I could never go on carnival rides (not that I would anyway. I'm scared of those :reject:).

I basically do everything else normally but have adapted to having the vertigo along with it. The computer screen, movie screens, and reading bring it on bad but I've just learned to live with that. The doc said these exercises will help to make it milder when I'm doing these things.

Ah, you don't do rollercoasters? Well at least when you don't want to you don't miss it.
It sounds like it'll make your life a lot easier!

Time to catch up! I actually got to SLEEP last night, it was pretty awesome. But then y'all went and postwhored on to a new thread without me!

I think mostly everyone agrees that Edge's eyes are green. :)

This is also an excellent balance between grey and brown scruffyness. :D

Annnnnnnnnnd now I'm pregnant again.

I could make a really bad quip about Bono pointing at something he wants between his legs but that would be in bad taste. Right?

I was soooo tempted to photoshop this last night! Just move Bono a liiittle to the left...

I do. He doesn't have an ass, unless someone can prove me otherwise. The only time Edge had a tiny bit of an ass was when he was Cowboy Pornstache during Popmart.

You mean this ass?

:cute: ahhhh.........Edge wants to come to............

*stretches* I'll see what I can do about that.

Sucky that they don't really have a fix, but yay for at least finally having answers! And a kind-of fix!

Is it time for Rome yet? :shifty:

Breakthrough in my vertigo today!! :hyper:

Went back to see another specialist doctor and he was finally able to give me some answers. Apparently I have a condition (too long of a name to type out and I can't even pronounce it lol) that makes my balance system highly sensitive. That is why I'm dizzy almost everyday and from certain things and movements that trigger it. After two years of tests, doctors, medications, and ruling everything out, I finally have an answer :D I'm so excited to finally know where it's coming from.

Unfortunately there is no way to make it go away. He gave me some exercises to do that can help calm it down a little. He said over time, these movements I have to do train my balance sensors to not make me so dizzy when I do certain things that make it a lot worse, like reading, looking at any type of screen, etc.

You must be so relieved to finally have an answer!

I kind of hate that word...the one in the title. Squicks me out. :reject:  Can you guys postwhore, and burn through this thread quickly? :shifty:

The close-up pic of Edge makes you not want to cook turkey? Funny, it has a totally different effect on me!

It makes you want to cook turkey? Come on over, then.

I am, thanks

How are you feeling? All better yet?

Not totally better, but better than yesterday, thanks.

At least you know what it is now K

Aww VP you not been well ?

Came down with a cold on the weekend which was getting better, then yesterday it was a stomach virus or something I ate. Nothing too serious. Just didn't feel like doing much, or driving for three hours. :)

Well, it doesn't really make me want to cook turkey, more like want to do other things!

I don't think that sentence even resembled English. Too lazy to fix it. I are a writer.

Slight narple, but very visible Bononeck. Om nom nom nom.

:lmao: ok that cracked me up.

Kristen I'm so glad you have finally some relief for your vertigo. That is awesome. Still sucks I know, but awesome to put a name and helpful advice on it. Yay! :)

VP you need to start feeling better. :madwife:

I'm at work, in total lurk mode, i will be reappearing and disappearing all day I'm sure. :shifty:

Meeting ended earlier than expected. Huzzah! But I have to go do work at a desk with no speakers for a half hour.  Oh well, at least I'll have twitter to keep me informed until I get back to my desk.

Thanks

How are you today?

Did you say the Canucks first game is tomorrow?

I'm doing okay. BUSY day today, but we had a really good last meeting which was very helpful for me to voice some stuff.

No, not until Sunday, sadly.

I can't believe today is the last European show! What are we going to do for the next month and a half?? Glad our boys will get a much-needed break, though!

I wonder if I have time to go search for food before it starts. :hmm:
