One of her best friends lives out there (she commutes to Sarah's school because of the gifted program there)...she's out in the boonies, and tonight they're having their final party before they all get ready for university, Sarah's the only one of her inner circle going back to HS. I tend to be a realist about things on an intellectual level, and you're right, if it's going to end, better to do it now so you can pick up the pieces and move on to the next big, exciting thing (or person) that will enter your life. And you know something/someone will. Emotionally though, you have to get over the sucky, hurting part, but that's what we're here for. 
We need lactose free ice cream, gallons of it, stat! And some Johnny Depp movies!

That program's very tempermental. We should be ready to start running analyses in a week or two, and I'm so excited to see if I've come up with anything!
