I'm assuming I'm going to need a wireless thingy (lol, I'm so technologically dumb) so that my computer will be able to connect to the internet. Is that something I can buy at the same store, or do I need to get that thru my internet company? I don't want to feel like a totally clueless bimbo when I go shopping.

Oh, and the one time we went to a nightclub it was crawling with skanks, male and female. I think my friends and I were the only ones NOT engaged in a threesome on the dancefloor.
I am going with my mom, who is celebrating her 60th! She has never been! I did go to Vegas to see U2, and I had a blast with the hubby. I don't do nightclubs, but I do gamble sometimes. When went for U2, Cirque had a great deal for their 25th anniversary...by one ticket, get one for $25. We saw Love, and it was amazing. I love checking out the hotels, and being from a small city, it is amazing to see!

Yeah, you'll need a wireless router. You can buy one at a store to hook up with your modem, or some (all of them, now? I'm not sure - maybe call them and ask?) ISPs have modems with routers built in. And yes, you should be able to get it at the same store.

Don't feel dumb, before I got mine, I had no idea, either.

Thank you!!

I really need to learn more about all this kind of stuff. I sometimes feel like an old lady when it comes to certain technology.

Awww. I mostly don't learn till I'm in a need-to-know situation. There's so much to keep up with now, it's practically impossible.

It is so ridiculous. I just learn as I need to as well.

And besides that you need a computer that can receive WIFI, or get a wifi dongle. All laptops have wifi built in so you're good with that, most desktops however don't.

Don't worry baby, it's gonna be all right. Uncertainty can be a guiding light...
