It's still summer weather here, thank jeebus. We didn't have much of a summer until August, so it's nice that the gorgeousness has hung on. Right now it's 5pm and it's still 30C (86F) outside. FUCK YES!! The long range forecast is ALL sun and warmth. So awesome!

I got to see a bit of the TIFF red carpet, but sadly I missed the Bono/Edge interviews. I did see Ben Mulrooney (HAAAAATE that douche canoe) blathering on, and they interviewed a girl I met in the GA lineup in Seattle. Very cool. I'm sure the interview vids will show up on YT eventually.

I'm back home now. It's good to be here. It was nice to go away for a week, but it's good to be home.

Hello! Greek Festival was a bust, as we spent an hour and half driving around SLC and COULDN'T FIND THE FUCKING CHURCH IT WAS AT.

Trust me, that's hilarious.

So what did we do? Did we get all bummed and just go straight home? HELL NO. We found a Greek restaraunt and got food to go.

Forget me not having homework. I have a lot of drawing to do. What's funny is the drawing teacher doesn't give two shits about detailed rendering, he just really wants us to get all our proportions right and actually occasionally screw up If only the painting teacher was the same.

I've just noticed I've been hanging around a lot of other Katies and they're all awesome as fuck it's hilarious! all the Katies in high school were bitches, but here...for example...there are 3 in my drawing class and they are all my drawing class best friends.

I feel so much better at the end of the week than I did in the beginning
