Dazz, sorry I keep lurking and not posting - I get time to catch up a bit but not post.

That having been said, for everyone, especially MTE. Losing a friend is always horrible, but at this time of year it seems worse... You know we're here for you.

GG, good luck on the exam! Bad enough I have to work on Christmas Eve, scheduling an exam then sucks!

They're letting us go home at 12:30 though...

Did someone say Mr. Mullen?!

We hiked up Diamond Head this morning. Man, I'd forgotten how intense of a hike it is. I was all sweaty and gross when we got to the top. We didn't make it for sunrise, but we were there before it got too hot. As we were getting to the bottom of the hike, a rescue helicopter was arriving to cart someone off the top. Apparently that's a regular thing - people don't read the signs and don't realize how hard of a hike it is, and combined with the heat they overexert themselves and start having medical problems.

It rained for an hour or so this afternoon (just after we had gotten to the beach), but it seems to be improving now. We're going for dinner at the nice revolving restaurant overlooking the city, so hopefully there will be a nice sunset for us to see.

Thora, oh, wow, the rescue helicopter-how freaky . Always best to pace oneself, definitely. I'm glad that you made it up and back okay, sweaty bleh feeling aside . Hopefully you got your nice sunset, too, and enjoyed the restaurant as well .

By the way, I dunno if you folks have seen any vids from Perth II of Boots or Crazy, but Adam stopped right in front of me and jumped around like a mad thing for at least 30 seconds in each song. (He may or may not have been facing in the other direction, and I may or may not have videoed 26 seconds of it in Crazy.)
