My dad just got out of surgery about 15, 20 minutes ago.... *needs to call her mom and ask if everything's ok*

ETA: ok, as of 9:25 am local time, he's still not out of surgery....

My mom just texted me back and said he's still in surgery.

Did he go in late? Sometimes non-emergent surgeries get delayed for those more serious.

No, as far as I can tell he went into actual surgery when he was supposed to.

And as of right now (10:15 am local time), he's still in surgery. It's already taking longer than they said it would

Right. Have to keep thinking that, and make sure my brain doesn't think the worst.

ETA: oh, thank heavens he's out of surgery.

I just ordered the stuff I'm going to need to make my Zelda sword and shield for the cosplay event. Going to get the paint next week or so and then I'll be making them when my parents go on a week holiday! The fun beforehand is almost as much as on the event itself.

I used to have goats JJ. They weren't lovely. They were smelly and mean and they liked to bite.

ETA: That does sound like fun, GG.

Goats are useful. They eat all the shite you have lying around, so it's a walking trashcan.

My goats didn't.

But, I think that says more about us as goat-raisers than it does about the goats.
