...must be the best mail I've received in a LONG time!

I think a lot of U2 fans would like kent, the music is so great that the language isn't a problem (they sing in Swedish, although they've recorded in English as well).

And this is the place to see my kent pictures, taken in Helsinki (Finland) in June this year:

 Thanks for this!! They got style!
Wow you were really close to the stage, very nice pic of Sami!

I don't remember: did I send you only this concert or also others? Cause the same great U2 fans who found this one also uploaded others, including one where they sing Klaparen :)drool: ).

I had a folder full of videos, pics and wallpapers, unfortunately I lost it when my harddrive crashed. I feel a bit lazy to start searching for all of this again on the net.:madspit:

Anyway, I'd really like other people to discover this band, it's totally worth it. But as we can't send PMs to mod to know if it's ok, what about starting a thread in the PLEBAn section to ask them?:uhoh:

I've just discovered Mew myself and I can truly recommend their album Frengers, such beautiful music.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to see kent one day, they're brilliant live. There are rumours about a tour and an EP this fall, I know I shouldn't get excited yet but just the thought..!!
:hyper:

But it hasn't been bad for you either, U2 and Coldplay... Add a bit of J. Berg and the boys to that list and you couldn't ask for more!

U2 fans really NEED to hear the more recent Marillion..lot's of similarities

also this band I've recently discovered OURS..man the singer is a wailer..very Jeff Buckley and Bono influencec..but like he's on steroids...unbelievably melodic..maybe the most catchy album DISTORTED LULLABIES, written (or atleast recorded as it was written in the mid 90's) in the last 5 years..

Dredg is another band which more U2 fans could easily get into..they are tremendous.
