If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Is anyone else having trouble getting to this link. Could someone transcribe the broadcast for those of us who can't get through? Thanks.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Maybe RTE is having some sort of problem right now. I'll try to reach the site later.

i am downloading this now.

i am not sure if you all got this email. but if not here you go:

(Thanks to Cindy.)

Bono was interviewed today on RTE Radio 1's "Today with Vincent Browne."

He spent a little over an hour discussing things like his trip to Africa in
May, other debt relief issues, immigration in Ireland, fans visiting
Ireland, U2's future (he said "I don't think so" when asked if U2 will still
be doing this in their 60s), plans for new music and tours, coping with the
death of his Dad, and more.

The Real Audio is available for download here:

Pretty hefty file, about 5.5 mb.

It's working now! Maybe it was just too busy with PLEBA girls when you tried!;) It's 28 minutes long, what a task if someone had to transcribe it! :slant: Give it a try now, his voice is so precious, and he's got a lot to say.

I can't find any transcript, but check out this thread on U2News-there are some highlights from the interview.

If you don't read the news forum, you should check it out. HelloAngel posts some great articles there, and you can PM her if you find any she hasn't posted. She appreciates the help :)

I listened to the whole interview last night, and the sound quality is pretty poor. I have small speakers and had to turn the volume all the way up. Boy, those interviewers can out talk even Bono :D

It's an interesting interview

 :bono:
