Yes, yes, yes!!! I don't know where I would be today if they didn't release this song way back when... it was when my U2 fascination began and it's been going strong ever since.

hi all! great thread! just wondering, does anyone have any clear pics of bono wearing the outfit for the video? i'm making a doll of him but every pic i see of him from this video is not clear.

the one clear pic i have of him, it looks like the ruffles on his shirt are only on one side. i thought the ruffles were on both sides. i'm getting really confused. is it only on the one side or both? if only on one, WHICH ONE?!?!

OMG....the memories.....when I was still a youngin.
I use to work in this store called Contempo when that video came out and we sold that shirt/blouse in black. Everyone called it the "Bono" shirt. We had customers come in and ask for it by that name...ruffle shirts were in style back them. and now there are in style in again.

I've never really thought that Bono fit into that classic rock god mold like Michael Hutchence so fantastically did (sorry, snakedance flashbacks) but this picture brought two words to mind -- Jim Morrison!!
